5 Natural Remedies For Treating Hair Loss

Hair can start to fall for many different reasons since it is influenced by a lot of factors ranging from hormones to diet to the environment. You can cover your head with a plastic bag and a towel, and then keep the mask on throughout the whole night. In the morning, you can wash your hair with a mild shampoo 1-2 times until you get rid of the excess oil.

2. Watercress juice stops hair loss.
A very easy remedy for hair loss is watercress juice, and you can use it daily as a hair toner and regenerator. Watercress also removes any excess sebum and regulates the sebaceous glands, so it is also a remedy for oily hair and dandruff. What you need to do is get 2-3 handfuls of green watercress and juice them with a juice extractor. You can also crush the leaves and then strain the liquid. You will only need a small quantity of about 4-5 tablespoons of watercress juice to massage your scalp daily. You can also make a mask from crushed watercress leaves and one egg white. Apply the mask to your scalp and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse your hair with cold water if possible.

3. Brahmi – The ayurvedic remedy for hair loss.
Brahmi extract can be successfully used to treat and prevent hair loss. In India, this is the number one brain tonic, given its amazing revitalizing effect on brain functioning. If you can find this extract at health store, use it regularly to massage your scalp. It has amazing effects on your hair and it stimulates its growth.

4. Ivy leaves can save your hair.
The ivy plant can be commonly found in many countries growing on walls or fences. It is a wonderful remedy for hair loss, especially if it is caused by fungal infections. What you need to do is wash your hair normally, and then for the final rinse use an ivy-leaves concoction. To prepare the concoction you will need to boil one handful of ivy leaves in 2 liters (67 fl oz) of water and let
it cool down. Use this concoction after each wash for at least a month.

5. Birch tree leaves are a great hair tonic.
Use birch tree leaves to treat and prevent hair loss. It is best to find fresh birch tree leaves, but you can also use dry ones from the health store. If you use dry leaves, buy a birch tree leaves tincture also for adding it to the concoction. What you need to do, is crush the birch tree leaves or tear them into small pieces. Then boil a handful of leaves in one liter (33 fl oz) of water. Let the concoction cool down and then use it to rinse your hair after each wash for 1-2 months. If you use dry leaves, add 30-40 drops of birch tree tincture to the concoction before you rinse your hair with it.
